Are you tired of reading about sexually transmitted diseases?
Of course, you are.
You’re tired of reading about them because they’re not only boring, but they’re also incredibly common—and that’s no fun at all. So what can we do?
Well, luckily for you, there are a few things you can do to make sure your love life stays safe and healthy. Here are some of our suggestions!
- Don’t have sex with anyone who doesn’t use a condom or dental dam. This is a pretty obvious one, but it’s always good to keep in mind when you’re hooking up with someone new. Make sure that before you start making out in the back seat of your car (or wherever else), that you’ve passed on this important step!
- If possible, get tested for STDs at least once every year. This will help keep track of your status and give you an idea if there are any holes that need patching up in your routine (or if there’s an issue brewing). Not only will this help protect yourself from potentially dangerous diseases like HIV/AIDS and gonorrhea; but it will also help prevent them from spreading through contact with others who may not know their status yet either
